Popular Islamic leader of the Muslim community Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao NSCIA has passed on.
He was the deputy head of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. His eldest daughter, Khadija, confirmed his death to the News Agency of Nigeria.
Mr. Arisekola Alao, an Ibadan-based Islamic leader, is noted for his philanthropy towards Islamic causes.
He was the Deputy President General of the NSCIA, and the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba land until his death.
